I teach German at the Institute of Modern Languages (IML) at The University of Queensland and my 14 years of teaching experience in schools also included Mathematics and English as a Second Language (ESL). In 2008, I worked at the Queensland LOTE (Languages other than English) Centre designing a multimedia languages course. I am currently working as a Technical Writer, documenting software used in the mining industry. Prior to that, I was an Instructional Design Lead with Accenture Learning, leading a team of designers creating training materials for a range of industries. I have run occasional workshops for the Goethe Institute, the Modern Languages Association of Queensland (MLTAQ), the Association of Independent Schools of Queensland (AISQ) and IML, as well as at language conferences. If you would like me to run a workshop for your school/organisation, please contact me. I enjoy singing in Canticum Chamber Choir, reading science-fiction, solving sudoku puzzles and learning languages. |
