My favourite composer is J.S. Bach. My musical preferences (in order) are Baroque, 20th/21st Century 'classical', Renaissance, Early Music, Classical, Romantic. If you are in Brisbane, please come to a Canticum concert!

Nance, Jerry Oltion, Geoff Ryman, Robert Sawyer, Robert Silverberg, Joan Slonczewski, Nancy Springer, Lucy Sussex, Harry Turtledove, A.E. van Vogt, Sean Williams, Connie Willis, Jack Wodhams and George Zebrowski.
Although I am developing an intense dislike of economy-class air-travel, I enjoy seeing new places, particularly in Asia and Europe. Favourite places are Germany, Singapore and Hong Kong.
Another one that should be obvious. Apart from this website, I have created class websites for IML classes and an extensive Intranet site for West Moreton Anglican College, where I taught German for 14 years. I'm self-taught with computers, and learn best by 'mucking around' and when stuck, 'googling' to see if someone else has a solution. They almost always have!
